Dutch civil rights organization Kompass is proud to announce the start of our project: “Nothing About Us Without Us”, focusing on Syrian leadership for civil rights within the Netherlands. As a supporter of our organization, we kindly ask you to share the call for applicants attached among future Syrian diaspora leaders within the Netherlands. We are happy to introduce you to our programme trainee Ali Aljasem, who is vital in making this project a major success. Ali lives in the Netherlands since 2015, and has already finished a master in Conflict Studies and Human Rights at Utrecht University. He worked for Doctors without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières, and was nominated for the ECHO award 2017 on diversity and social contribution.
